VBM Technology Management Partners started as Valley Business Machines in 1985 — selling, servicing, and supporting office equipment for Alaska businesses. Four decades later, copiers and MFPs are still core to who we are. We've partnered with Sharp Electronics because their machines deliver the reliability, security, and print quality Alaska businesses need, and because Sharp stands behind their equipment the same way we stand behind ours.

We don't just sell Sharp equipment — we run it. The same Sharp MFPs we put in your office are the ones we use in ours every day, so when a technician arrives at a service call, they already know the machine inside and out. Our technicians are factory-trained, based in Alaska, and accountable to you directly. No routing through a national service desk, no scripted troubleshooting, no tech who's never seen the model before. When something needs attention, the person fixing it is someone you can call, meet, and rely on — because they're part of the same community you are.

Sharp MFPs for Every Office Size

From small practice offices to high-volume production environments, Sharp's evolving lineup covers the full range of business needs. We help you right-size the machine to your actual print volume and workflow — not the other way around — so you're not paying for capacity you'll never use or outgrowing a unit six months in.

Advanced Security Built In

Sharp MFPs include user authentication, data encryption, and secure print release as standard — not as an upsell. For regulated industries and any business handling sensitive documents, that means the copier at the end of the hallway isn't the weak link in your security posture.

Eco-Friendly Design and Operation

Energy-saving modes, recyclable toner cartridges, and Sharp's ongoing sustainability commitments mean your office equipment does its part. It's a small line item on your operations, but one that adds up over the life of the machine — and matters to customers and staff who notice.

Cloud and Workflow Integration

Scan directly to cloud storage, print from mobile devices, and route documents through the business applications you already use. Sharp's integration options fit how your team actually works — in the office, from home, or on the move — without forcing a workflow change.

Local Service Across Alaska's Core Market

For customers across the Mat-Su Valley and Anchorage, you pay for the work, not the drive — travel time doesn't land on your invoice. Alaska is a big state, and service calls to remote sites can occasionally involve travel costs, but that's the exception and you'll know up front before we dispatch a technician. No meters starting the moment a van pulls out of the parking lot.

Local Technicians Who Know Your Equipment

Our service team is based in Alaska, factory-trained on every Sharp model we sell, and often the same technicians from one call to the next. They know your office, your machines, and the people who use them. With consistent techs and detailed account history, when an issue comes up we're not starting from scratch — we've likely already been there and already know the fix.

Forty years of selling and servicing business equipment in Alaska has taught us one thing: the machine matters, but the people behind it matter more. Sharp builds the hardware. We make sure it shows up, gets installed right, stays running, and is backed by technicians who know your office by name — because that's how VBM has earned its reputation since 1985.
